It puts mountain ranges in California to shame now that I've seen them.
Why the hell anyone in their right mind would want to schlep themselves up there without the use of modern technology. But hey! I guess the Habsburgs just had a lot of time and money. I honestly can't blame them for wanting to live up here.
As cool as Vienna is, I think I enjoy walking around in the Alps more than walking around the city.
At some point in the future I want to come back to Europe and backpack in the Alps. Just be away from society for awhile and marvel at the grandeur of nature.
