If I had to choose only one museum in Vienna to recommend people visit, It would probably be (unsurprisingly enough) the Vienna Museum.
Form what I saw and heard from Gretl, It has a little bit of every aspect of Viennese history in it. Form city architecture, to Habsburg portraits, to suits of armor, to BADASS SUITS OF HORSE ARMOR!
I've seen enough 3D maps of Vienna to last me a lifetime now.
It's interesting how many and how well documented the changes in Vienna's city layout changed. Something I realized after seeing the Ringstrasse exhibit.
Which I couldn't take pictures in...
Wien Museum: definitely my favorite so far.
